IIT's Location & Access
Chicago is served by O'Hare International Airport, Midway Domestic Airport, Amtrak and Greyhound/Swallows Bus Lines.
IIT's main campus is located four miles north of the University of Chicago and 20 miles south of Northwestern University. The E1 Building (which houses the Applied Math Department) is at the intersection of State and 32nd streets. The main campus has two elevated "El" trains and several bus routes either on campus or within a short walk, operated by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).
