SPSS References

You will be able to find tutorials on using SPSS and relevant data sets needed for the homework in this portion of the website.

Note that a relatively inexpensive license for SPSS was recently brought to my attention. Check out this OnTheHub link for more information. Of course, SPSS is also available on machines here on campus.

There are lots of useful sources for SPSS help online: Note that some of these websites use different versions of SPSS; it shouldn't be a big deal, but you may notice some small differences along the way.

Likewise, the tutorials I have created for this material do not use the latest version of SPSS (unless IIT was too cheap to update the installation). I'll fix them at some point if there are significant enough changes. Also, I will post more tutorials as we cover more topics of relevance.
Here are some data sets that we will need during the class. Some of these are in SPSS form only, and some have a more general format that will allow them to be used with other statistical software.
