Course Contents:
As indicated by the title, this course has two components.
The matrix algebra component covers topics from chapters 7 and 8, including:
Vectors and matrices
Matrix operations, transpose
Inverse, rank, determinants, linear systems
Eigenvalues and eigenvectors
The complex variables component covers topics from chapters 17-20, including:
The imaginary axis
Analytic functions
Laurent series expansions
Singularities and residues
Assignments: This course will use WebAssign for many assignments
throughout the semester. There will also be some physical homework which will
be posted here as well as on BlackBoard.
Enrollment: Not applicable for Math majors; Required for EE majors; Math elective for CPE majors

Homework assignments may be created independently of the problems from the text.
