Course Contents: As indicated by the title, this course has two components. The matrix algebra component covers topics from chapters 7 and 8, including: The complex variables component covers topics from chapters 17-20, including: Assignments: This course will use WebAssign for many assignments throughout the semester. There will also be some physical homework which will be posted here as well as on BlackBoard.

Enrollment: Not applicable for Math majors; Required for EE majors; Math elective for CPE majors

Textbook: D. G. Zill and M. R. Cullen, Advanced Engineering Mathematics, 5th ed., Jones and Bartlett, ISBN: 9781449691721.
Note that if you are so inclined, you may feel free to purchase an older edition of the textbook. Homework assignments may be created independently of the problems from the text.

Grading: Homework: 20%, Quizzes: 20%, Exams: 60%
