Sorry, but I couldn't resist sharing, especially for students who have
recently moved to Chicago.
There is nothing better than recharging by spending a cold winter's day in
a museum.

The major museums in the city have free days on the following days this
month. You only need to show IL/ IIT ID to gain entry.
You can find more information on their respective websites.

Museum of Science & Industry: February 4-7, 11-14, 19-21, 25-28

Field Museum: all of February

Shedd Aquarium: February 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-28

Adler Planetarium: February 5-7, 12-14, 18-21, 26-28

Art Institute: February 4-8, 11-15, 19-20

Museum of Contemporary Art: always free for IIT students, faculty, staff.

National Museum of Mexican Art: always free.

If you need further suggestions, feel free to write back.

Enjoy!

Hemanshu
