*Speaker*: Professor Huaxiong Huang (Fields Institute and the Department of
Mathematics and Statistics York University, Toronto, Canada)
*Title*: Pulling InSb Crystal, Glass Electrodes & Glass Fibres
*Abstract*:
In this talk I will present some of the work done by my collaborators and I
on drawing glass electrodes, fibres and compound crystals.
In paticular we will discuss thermal effects on the stability and dopant
diffusion in glass fibre, and defects control in crystals.
