Dear AMAT Undergraduates,

The following paid internship opportunity is forwarded to us by alumnus
James Panek (MS 2017, Applied Math), who works with the company.

   - You must be a continuing undergraduate student this fall (co-terminals
   *might* be accepted)
   - The biggest skill need is MS Excel, with prior programming knowledge
   helpful but not required.
   - They are looking for someone who will learn the processes and make
suggestions on how to improve analytics and forecasting.
   - They already have good applications in hand, and you should try to
complete your application (see below) *in the next day or two* if you
   are interested.

You should view this email as my judgement that the internship is a
worthwhile lead to consider for those interested in data analytics,
modeling, and forecasting; but not a guarantee of any particular salary,
working conditions, skills, or other specific benefits that you might gain
by working with the company.

Full disclosure: I was James' thesis adviser for his MS degree.

Regards,
Robert Ellis
