This Saturday April 21st from 8am-6:30pm we recommend you consider
attending and participating in Entrepreneurship Day, which will be a
regular occurrence in upcoming semesters. Teams are interdisciplinary, and
useful skills are much broader than just coding, including leadership and
communication, innovation and design thinking, and disciplinary
knowledge. Prizes
totaling $2,500 have been announced. Multiple Illinois Tech faculty,
including Anijo Matthew, Academic Director of the Kaplan Institute for
Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, will share stories and skills.

Don't worry about not feeling "skilled enough" to participate -- go ready
to learn! The day's schedule:

   - 8:00-9:00 AM Breakfast + Team Formation
   - 9:00-10:30 AM Innovation & Entrepreneurship Narratives
   - 10:45-1:30 AM Hands-on Design Thinking
   - 1:30-2:30 PM Lunch
   - 2:30-5:00 PM Learn & prototype Business Models
   - 5:00-6:30 PM Presentations and award ceremony
