Dear Applied Math Students,

Are you considering going to Graduate School at any time in the future?

You do not have to be graduating now to benefit from this event.

Please join us for the

Panel on Graduate Studies in Mathematical Sciences

scheduled for

Wednesday, April 11th, 12:45pm-1:45pm in RE 102

The panel consisting of AMAT Faculty and Student members:

Marissa Ashner, Lulu Kang, Hemanshu Kaul, Michael Pelsmajer, and Despina
Stasi

will discuss several aspects of graduate studies:

   -

   How to decide whether graduate school is the right choice for you;
   -

   What the application process entails;
   -

   What admission committees look for in applications;
   -

   Their own personal experiences with graduate studies;
   -

   How to take steps now to be a successful applicant and successful
   graduate student.

It’s never too early to start planning for the next steps in your career!

Bring your questions.

FOOD will be provided by the Association for Women in Mathematics.

If you have any questions, please contact Despina Stasi (stasdes at iit.edu)
