This is a reminder that the deadline for SIAM officer applications is *this
Saturday, May 13, at 11:59pm*. If you are interested in applying, let me
know by email by then. Our original announcement is included below.
IIT SIAM Student Chapter President
The IIT student chapter of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics
> (SIAM) will be holding its elections in a few weeks, and we are *now
> accepting applications for officers* for the 2017-2018 academic year.
> SIAM <http://siam.org/> is an international professional organization for
> people in applied mathematics and related fields, including science and
> engineering. Our student chapter focuses on organizing events and
> activities to promote learning and involvement in applied mathematics. Its
> exact agenda is largely driven by the initiatives of the current officers
