Dear AM undergrads,

This semester we have been running a special research course in which 13
undergraduates have been working on teams on two real-world problems:

   - Epidemic prediction and facility location of clinics for Ebola in West
   Africa; and
   - Evaluation of sites for solar power plants in the US Southwest through
   weather analysis and prediction.

The teams will make their midterm presentations tomorrow, Thu 2/26, at 10am
in E1 027. All of you are welcome, though seating is limited to around 14
guests in the back two rows.

If you think you may be interested in summer research programs, team-based
research, or real-world problems, this is a good opportunity to see what
your peers at IIT are doing.

There will be another invitation later in the semester for the final
presentation.

Regards,
Robert Ellis
