Good Afternoon,

I wanted to send a quick introductory email before I attend the IIT career
fair next week. We are very excited to share our Fellowship with your
students and I’d love to meet to you while I am on campus.

The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship, now offered in Georgia, Indiana and
New Jersey, seeks to attract individuals with backgrounds in the STEM
fields (science, technology, engineering and math) who are interested in
teaching in high-need secondary schools. The Fellowship offers current
seniors, recent graduates, and career changers in STEM fields a $30,000
stipend to complete an intensive master's degree program that focuses on a
year-long experience in local classrooms similar to those where they will
teach. In exchange, Fellows commit to teach for three years in high-need
secondary urban or rural schools, with mentoring and support from both
their universities and their schools throughout their three-year commitment.

Our Fellowship is transforming teacher education and we believe that those
passionate about the STEM fields can become extraordinary teachers and
ignite an interest in these subjects.

I’d love if you would share this opportunity with any students you believe
might be interested. If you would be interested in any posters or flyers
for your office or departments office, I would be happy to send some. More
information can be found at www.woodrow.org/teach

I hope to be able to speak with you next week!

Best,
Lindsay
