*Subject:* Point me in the right direction?
I found your name on the Applied Mathematics website and I'm hoping you can
help me. I am a Program Coordinator with a tutoring company called Cardinal
Scholars, and we are looking to hire more Illinois Institute of Technology
students who are extremely academically successful and strong role models,
to tutor students in the Chicago area. We aim to recruit undergraduate and
graduate students who are academically well-rounded, involved in the
community, and who love to teach others.
Do you have an email group or listserv for the Applied Mathematics
Students? I would really appreciate it if you could forward the job
description below to any students who may be interested in becoming a
Cardinal Scholars tutor, or point me in the direction to someone else who
can help me. (We connect students with tutoring sessions in cities all over
the country so it's okay if some students aren't planning to stay in the
Chicago area for the summer months.)
Thank you very much for your time!

Cardinal Scholars <http://www.cardinalscholars.com/> is an in-home *and*
online tutoring service that gives exceptional tutors the chance to be
matched with local students in need of additional academic support. We
connect tutors with students seeking help with college, high school, middle
school and elementary material.
We're seeking tutors who meet the following criteria:
· Are fantastic teachers and have experience teaching others.
· Are academically curious and intelligent.
· Attend or have graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology as
either an undergraduate, graduate, or professional student.
The benefits of becoming a tutor with us include:
· Freedom to set your own schedule (no set hourly requirement; we
expect you to be taking classes yourself!).
· Competitive compensation starting at $20/hr.
· Get to know great families from the community who will really
appreciate your help.
· We connect tutors with students in over 90 cities in the U.S.
*and* online for sessions so it’s okay if you aren’t currently living in
the Chicago area!
*Coming on board as a tutor is not a guarantee of immediate tutoring work,
but offers the opportunity to be considered for an assignment if we receive
a tutoring request in your area for in person tutoring and/or around the
country for online tutoring.*
