Subject: MS in Finance U of Tulsa.54m.

Greetings:

Over the past several years finance has become a topic of
considerable interest for mathematicians and math students. Our MS in
Finance program provides math students the opportunity to study finance and
apply their strong mathematical/analytical skills on real business problems.
Approximately 25 percent of our students have a degree in mathematics. Our
dual degree MS in Finance and MS in Applied Mathematics may be (we haven't
been able to identify any other similar programs) the only such dual degree
in the United States.

I realize that this is an unsolicited email but I hope that
you will consider it as information and an opportunity for your students
rather than spam. If you would forward it to your students, I would greatly
appreciate it . Roger

University of Tulsa

MS in Finance Program

Highlights

.

STUDENT QUALITY: Average GMAT score for Fall 2009 was 669 which ETS
translates to an equivalent GRE score of 1360 - 1400. You will have great
colleagues.

FINANCIAL AWARDS: The majority of our MSF students receive financial aid in
the form of fellowships, graduate assistantships, and corporate internships.

Corporate Internships: In addition to the traditional summer internships, we
offer year around corporate internships where students work 20 hours and
earn $25/hour plus have 50% of their tuition paid. Corporate internships
are a great way for students coming directly from undergraduate programs to
a graduate program to gain business experience.

CONCENTRATIONS: Risk Management, Corporate Finance, and Investments and
Portfolio Management

DUAL DEGREES: The MSF program can be combined with the MS in Applied
Mathematics, the MBA, or the JD programs to receive two degrees. The dual
degree programs allow obtaining both degrees with 12 fewer credit hours than
obtaining both degrees separately.

PLACEMENT: Placement has been excellent. See attached. Graduates with
Math and MSF degrees are highly sought.

APPLICATION: Go to
<http://www.utulsa.edu/academics/colleges/Collins-College-of-Business/Gradua
te-Business-Programs/Application-Information.aspx> MSF Application to begin
the application process.

I will be attending the MAA Conference in San Francisco and will have a
table in the Exhibit Hall (Exhibit 709). I also will participate in the
Graduate School Fair on January 15 from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Mosconne
West Convention Center. If you are attending the MAA, it would be great if
you could stop by to meet and visit about our program.

A detailed program summary is attached. The MSF web site is:
