> Dear Dr. Hickernell,
> My name is John Obrycki, and I am assisting with Ball State's Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellowship information session on Monday, December 6, from 5:30-6:30 pm. I wanted to share this information with you in case you knew of any prospective graduate students or career-changers with strong STEM backgrounds that might be interested in this program.
> The Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellowship enables individuals with outstanding backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, and math-the STEM disciplines-to pursue careers as educators, as well as offers the preparation that will ensure success in the classroom over the long term. The one-year program begins with a summer session of study on the Ball State campus followed by a full academic year of study at a partner high school in Muncie or Anderson.
> Fellows receive a $30,000 stipend, excellent mentoring, and a master's degree in secondary education with licensure in mathematics, physics, physical science, or life science.
> The final application deadline is January 12, 2011. For more information about the program: http://www.bsu.edu/teachers/wwfellows/
