If you're a senior and interested in continuing your math
studies in grad school, the following should be of interest:

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
invites applications for early-career faculty positions for the 2008
Nebraska IMMERSE (Intensive Mathematics: A Mentoring, Education and
Research Summer Experience) program. This NSF-sponsored program has two
interwoven components: one that strengthens the preparation of students
who are about to begin graduate study in mathematics (pre-grads), and
another that develops the teaching, research and mentoring skills of
early-career faculty at non-doctoral-granting mathematics departments and
of graduate students. The 2008 program will run from June 23rd through
August 1st for the pre-grads and from June 9th through August 1st for the
early-career faculty.

For more information about IMMERSE visit the Nebraska MCTP website
(http://www.math.unl.edu/programs/mctp/immerse.shtml ) or email the program
