WORKSHOP- GETTING A JOB: THE FIRST MINUTE A MUST FOR EVERY STUDENT 

 

This is a new workshop offered by the Career Management Center, the Office
of Multicultural Students Services and the International Center.

 

Come and learn about business and social customs in the workplace and how to
make a positive first impression in the first minute of your contact with a
prospective employer.  Topics covered are:  business dress,
gestures/expressions, protocol in the workplace, communication and much
more.  Interact with others and see hands-on demonstrations.

 

As space is limited, you must RSVP online at:

Please note that this does not confirm your reservation.  You will be
required to submit a $5 deposit to the International Center by Friday,
January 26th to confirm your reservation.  This deposit will be refunded to
you at the end of the workshop you attend.

 

The workshop will be held at the following times:

 

Wednesday, January 31st at 12:45pm in the MTCC Ballroom

Thursday, February 1st at 4:45pm at the Downtown Campus in Room 490

Monday, February 5th at 3:15pm in the MTCC Ballroom

 

This is a must for each and every student to attend.  A small gift will be
provided after completion of the workshop.
