[grads] Your Resume on the Department Web Page

Dear Graduate Students,

the Department of Applied Mathematics came up with the idea to
organize a section in the Department web-site, dedicated to
our Department JOB CANDIDATES. The idea is to help you to hunt for a
job, and make your name more visible to public. On this web page we
are planing to place the resume of all Graduate Students from our
Department (including Masters in Applied Math, and MMF) who are
currently on the job market. Namely, if you plan to graduate within
a semester or so, then you can post your resume on department web-page.

Another good thing is that all resumes/cvs will be initially revised by
faculty (me or someone else) and by Career Management Center at IIT.
Hence, you will get also a review/critique on your resume. Moreover,
once in a while, CMC will hold a resume critique session, so you will
have a possibility to get professional review of your resume.

At this point we will post only the resumes of those who are looking
for full-time job, but in the near future, we plan to have an internship
section as well as.

To start with, everyone HAS TO reply to me (igor at math.iit.edu) the following
information:
1) Your Full Name (First Last)
2) Major/Program
3) Date admitted to IIT
4) Date you plan to graduate
5) What type of job your are looking for after the graduation
(industry, academia, what kind of industry etc)

In the subject line, please indicate "Job Market Web Page".
The deadline is Wednesday, April 23.

Next step will be to provide your resume. Please start working on it
now. Make it perfect !!! We will announce additionally when to submit it.
