Problems of Sierpinski and Erdos

Abstract

In two recent articles in the journal Real Analysis Exchange M. Laczkovich and R. Svetic, revisited some problems and questions connected with earlier work of Sierpinski and Erdos respectively. I'll, I hope, shed some light on these problems and present some new results and open questions.
